I finally had the chance to move the photos from my camera to the computer so I thought I would update on our month so far. Macy tried carrotts the other day and loved them. The kids were feeding her so things got pretty messy. She could hardly get it fast enough and when it spilled on the tray she would try to lick it off. Too funny!
She is also rolling everywhere now. She started out over by the red chair and made her way clear across the room leaving a spit up trail the entire way in case she wanted to find her way back.
She thinks she is getting too big for her swing. She doesn't like to lay back in it. Instead she leans forward and hangs out. If you try to get her to lay back she goes stiff as a board and grunts. Apparently the view is much better leaning forward. Her hair is getting too long for the mohawk look we had going so now she has the boy comb over. When we leave the house I will throw it in a little pony tail on top of her head or put on a headband with bow to doll her up a bit. Isn't she just the cutest little thing!?!
For FHE on Monday we had a lesson on Love at home and made heart shaped cinnamon rolls. It was a lot of fun. I usually dread baking with the kids because they fight over who gets to do what and it drives me crazy. They did good this time though.
Haylee Brigham and Ashtyn love to goof around on our bed. There is a gap between the mattress and footboard that they can spend hours playing in. I have considered using this as a time out spot because if you get them in there just right they can't move. Someday I may just have to use it!
Brigham and his cousin Brock started preschool this month at the Highschool. Here they are on their first day. They were so excited. Since Grandma works at the Highschool she had to take them around and show them off to her co-workers. Can't say that I blame her...they are pretty darn cute. They keep telling me that they are best friends. Brigham talks about another cousin, Michelle, and Brock keeps reminding Brigham that they are the best friends though. All of my kids have usually been in daycare so taking them to things like this is usually no big deal. I forget that Brigham isn't as used to that. He had a hard time the first day and wouldn't even walk out with the teachers when it was time to be picked up. He was being very defiant that day. Ugh! The next day he did a lot better. I am glad we put him in it so he could learn to be away from me for awhile. He is too used to his comfy home and ruling the roost around here.
