Kids are Funny...

This is the cool dude I get to hang out with all day. Lately he prefers not to wear a shirt and to walk around in these sweet cowboy boots. It makes me giggle every time I see him. Wouldn't it be fun to be a kid again? Haylee has been working on rolling her tongue for several days now. This was something she just had to master. Today has been a proud day. She finally figured it out and has been in a great mood all day because of this. Thank you tongue! Congrats Haylee! This was last Friday after only three days of school. We let the girls hand out in our bedroom to watch a movie since it was the weekend. This is what we found. Lets just say they didn't watch the movie...school apparently wore them out this week.

And School Begins...

All ready for the first day of school. Haylee was sooooo excited. Ashtyn not so much. Here is the neighborhood crew waiting at the bus stop. Every one of them is looking sharp in their new clothes and excited for the first day. Aren't they all so cute!?! Brigham was hoping to sneak on the school bus too. He was pretty disappointed to see the girls get to go without him. Off they go. . . I am more sad this year losing two kids than I was last year. It was really quiet at home today. Hope everyone has a great school year. Check out below for their after school interviews.

Hink of Milk

Every night at bedtime and usally really early every morning we get the request for a "hink" of milk. Tonight he decided to take matters in his own hands and these are the results. Next time I will be more on top of things. The sippy he got was out of the dish washer that hadn't been washed yet. Lovely. We are working on learning how to say drink instead of hink but it is actually Scott and I that have gotten into the habit of pronouncing it wrong now. Let me know if you ever want a hink of milk. I am a professional milk pourer. Hold off a few years before you ask Briggy for help.

TWO MORE DAYS!!!!

I have been holding off on posting this good news. Partly because it is still sinking in and also because they have had me keep it on the down low. I only have two more days of working in the office and then I get to work part time from home. I have been pushing for this option for quite some time and finally decided I just needed a change of pace and put in my two weeks notice. They decided they would make it a win-win for both of us and offered me the part-time position from home I have been pushing for. So, starting Monday, August 18 I will work from 10-2 and then I can enjoy time with my kids for the rest of the day. I look forward to getting to be with them more. Thank you Premier!
