The Latest...

There has been a lot going on lately so I thought I would post a few highlights. I am not good at blogging on a regular basis so you will just have to enjoy it all in one lump. Enjoy... THE BIG 29. I celebrated my Birthday over the course of a few days because I was busy with Enrichment night on my actual Birthday. Every year I request a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. I let the kids pick it each year. This year it was between a unicorn, Hanah Montana, or Elmo. Brigham won so I ended up with an Elmo birthday cake this year. I was Delish! I got an outdoor swing and a fun garden decoration for the big day. Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes!
Here we are with all of Rexburg at the annual Air Show. It was really hot but the planes were fun to see. I am holding my niece, Michelle and Whitney is also in the picture. These two planes were fun to watch. They would do cool tricks and get really close to each other which was pretty crazy. I am happy to report no one died which Scott felt might happen so we all lucked out. The girls were really sweet and got up and made Scott and I breakfast for Father's Day. We got toast and Diet Pepsi and a thing of tic tacs. I am really big on no pop in the morning so they must have thought it was a special occasion. They thought of it all including napkins with cute flower decor they had made. Scott was a good sport and ate his toast. I couldn't down all the butter on mine and had to fake it. Scott and the kids. Had to capture a moment with them on Father's Day before church.
All the neighbor kids thought it would be a good idea to plant a garden in the sand box. I gave them seeds for corn and peas but warned them the plants probably wouldn't grow. They were entertained for a good hour doing this. I may just stock up on more seeds.

Wii Fit

Scott started calling around today to try to find me a Wii Fit for my birthday (June 24th). Figured he better get a head start since they are hard to find right now. Fred Meyer came through for us so we have been playing Wii all night. It is a lot of fun. This is Brigham playing downhill skiing. When you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it. It is fun and a good work out too. It has been awhile since I have hula hooped...I am sure I will be feeling that tomorrow! I will say it is slightly depressing when they add some weight to your Mii because you are too fat according to their calculations. I am sure none of you will have that problem but it looks like I have some work to do.
