Macy Turns 1

Today Macy turned one!  She is growing up so fast.We had a party on Sunday to celebrate.  She wanted nothing to do with this grand cupcake.  When we were passing out regular size cupcakes she reached for one and enjoyed it with no hesitation. (she fell and bonked her head while we were decorating for the party, thus the scratch on her face)She had no idea how to unwrap her gifts but she had lots of help so it wasn't a problem.
For her actual birthday we went and got her first Happy Meal.  She enjoyed her orange drink a lot!

We played on the toys which she loved.  She is playing peek-a-boo with me in this shot.

Brigham even took her down the slide which she thought was great.  We had a great day.  We are so grateful for her sweet spirit in our lives.  Happy Birthday Macy!
The joy on her face is priceless!

Where did August Go?

Seriously, where did August go?  With August gone, that means my baby is going to turn one soon.  What!?!  Bare with me, lumping all of our August into one post.  Miss Macy makes the funniest face when things happen she is not sure of.  I believe the phone started ringing in this one.  She looks out of the corner of her eyes and does a tight lip thing.  I have yet to catch it on camera good.
We went camping a few times in August, once with Dad up in the Kelly Canyon area and once with cousins by Mesa Falls.  We had tons of fun on both trips and even snuck some huckle berry picking in.Cousins, Isaac and Brigham playing by Warm River.  I love this picture! We roasted marshmellows with the neighbors and all the kids slept outside for Brigham's "boy club"We took the kids to Tautphus Park Zoo and Macy was terrified of the penguin guy.  She started shaking and crying immediatly.  We may want to hold off from going to Disneyland anytime soon...
We went school shopping and then had a modeling show with the kids.  Tee Hee.Macy learned to play with Brigham...Batman is now her new favorite toy.  If you ask her what Batman says she will go "duh na na na na" Cracks me up.
Sent the kids off to school for 2nd and 4th grade.  Wow!
